BROKEN HEART

There is a void

Where my heart is supposed to be

Empty as it could ever be .

 

Falling for you was stupid

But my foolish heart didn't listen

When I looked into those chocolate eyes .

 

But now there is someone else in your arms

And I can see why you fell for here

So beautiful, was she

With those huge eyes

And raven hair .

 

And as I stand at a distance

In a dark and lonely place

Watching the both of you smile

That smile I used to smile at you

That has nothing but love and happiness

 

As you hold her hand

And kiss her forehead

That void where my heart used to be

Is filled with joy and despair
