How I Miss You Sherry Maximoss

I wrote this poem for one of my best friends who had been seperated from me for 3 years now

There is an empty space in my heart
Since we parted
It feels like forever

I stare into the night
Looking at the stars
Wishing you were here
Next to me
So that we could
Have each others backs
Completing each others songs of life

Having a shoulder to cry on

And someone to do crazy things with

To hold your hand and see you smile

And to feel so good with you by my side

As our hair flies in the cool sea breeze

And to our footsprints in the sand

Yours next to mine

Your so far away

But yet our hearts are connected

And you will always be there where you belong

In my heart.
